Welcome to the Millpost Records News section! This is also (in a way) a blog, where I will keep you updated about the numerous projects that have been going, give you an exlusive behind the scenes, and show you all about how this ship sails!

STUDIO

Far Darrig have been recording their debut EP, and it has been a pleasure to mix. This entire session was recorded live, so working with a session of that scale was a very new way of approaching things. Automating the volume across all busses was a long process, but the overall quality captures them live, which is exactly what we were after.

Live Session Automation!

I've found that the Fairchild 660 & 670 compressors from Universal Audio have had such a great impact on the recordings in this session. Combined with Pultec EQs, SSL channel strips, and the iconic Teletronix LA-2A compressor, as well as more, these recordings are sounding so present and balanced.

The next stage for this project is going to be mastering, and then you'll be blessed with a new EP!

MERCH

Merchandise is getting a bit of an update - some products are coming, and some are going! the Millpost Records merchandise is only available through the site, but with artists it's a different story! As always, I reccomend buying tickets and seeing them live, and getting merch directly from them, however if you can't attend, want exclusives, or there are stock issues at a venue, you know you can come to us and we've got you covered.
